'Babies Are Us’ Parenting Class

Healthy Infant Development is the foundation for a strong and successful life. LCTHC strives to see parents and their children thriving together to nurture family bonds. Come join us every 3rd Wedensday of the Month at 1pm to learn:

  • Infant care and taking care of your baby’s Basic Needs

  • Physical Development and motor function ‘month-by-month’

  • Social and Emotional Development and Support

  • Positive Parenting Approaches

  • Help in making Informed Parenting Choices for your family

  • SIDS Prevention and safe practices

  • Your questions answered

Infant/Toddler 'Play Group' Parenting Class

Does your infant/toddler need help socializing? Do you want to learn techniques to teach your child how to positively interact with others? Need someone to talk to? Join us for the play group! We will use play to engage your child in activities and provide social interaction with other children and adults.

Some of our focus areas include:

  • Music and Movement
  • Block play
  • Art Activities
  • Sensory Exploration
  • Emotional Awareness
  • Language and Literacy

 

Other resources are available at each class. These include a weekly discussion topic on Early Childhood Education and Child Development.

Circle of Security Parenting Class™

Circle of Security Parenting ™program focuses on how parent/child relationships can be strengthened and teaches parents and caregivers new ways to understand their children’s needs, behaviors and effective ways to respond. 

This class is for parents and caregivers with children 0-5 years old.  Class meets for 10 weeks with lunch and childcare provided for all participants. Participants must register for class by contacting (707) 263-8382 ext. 1311.

This group is for parents and caregivers with children 0-5 years old.  Healthy snacks and a monthly drawing to win a book for your child.
